The program improvement
team have come up with some fantastic ideas to help improve and support
the leaders of Sunset Area and I am proud to have this posted on our
web site. The goal of the team is to identify the needs and
improvements of program delivery and concepts from the leaders
perspective. We (Scouting) in the past have missed this or did not have
the foresight to recognize the concerns of our Leaders working with our
youth.
A successful group is a group that offers the best program, keeping it
exciting challenging and fun following the Scouts Canada program
delivery guides. We need to know and be able to identify any problem
areas to help us improve. If you improve then the kids have fun and you
are proud of what you have and are doing with the youth.
The team has come up with a question sheet that will be posted on the
web site, handed out at Scouters’ clubs and at Group committee meetings
around the area. This question sheet if filled in and returned will
allow the team to focus on the areas of concern.
This is the next level of
trying to serve you better and my commitment as the AC to Make SUNSET
AREA improve and offer Scouting the way it is meant to be.
